In today's post, I've styled this metallic skirt which I have also styled in a previous post. This look was just a laid back one. I totally love metallic skirts and I'm really looking to get them in different styles and colors to style them.

Hello loves, super excited it's almost the weekend. I hope that everyone's hoping for the best? That's the only thing we can do now. 

In today's post I've styled my favorite cropped denim jacket and paired it with my midi dress.

I cannot emphasize my love for the fall season. Having to play around with different outfits styles and making an effort to layer and make it loove stylish and well put together. Ahhhhh!! Life has been given. 

In todays post, im serious guys dont call me Ms Essien, my name is now Mrs is Gray. lol not Just  joking. Can you see this monochromatic perfection in this post. I have come to accept that in styling you dont have to have all the colors right, in fact, i prefer little contrasts here and there.

Ive paired this gray mock neck midi dress with this ankle sock shoe. For the extra chilly days i have thrown on this comfy gray jacket. I love how all the shades of gray work together. 

To be honest, I will be wearing these outfits and styles this fall and these are definitely some of my fall wardrobe staples so you will be seeing my style a lot of midi dresses this season, best said now before it seems like breaking news ... I am too dry ...lol.

METALLICS x SHADES OF GRAY (HOWISTYLEDIT is One)

Hello loves, Happy  almost friday to you all. I promise you its been a very stressful week for me, to the point where i kept procrastinating my blog posts. 

I have good news to share with you all. October is the month that HowIstyledit turned one yay!!. Even though technically i created this blogsite two years ago, proper handwork and effort only started two years ago. In celebration i have this You balloons  and i hope you like them.

In todays,sharing my love for this metallic skirt and gray shades. Lately ive been going back to my old obsessions. Colors like grays, nudes, burgundy and white are my go to during the fall season. I found myself styling gray outfits lately, sorry in advance guys if i suddenly goes all gray in here. 

Ive paired the perfect sweater with this metallic skirt from +boohoo.com  very affordable and gorgeous. I also paired this look with these different shades of gray clutch and shoes. This loo was pretty easy to put together based on the fact that initially i was skeptical about styling metallics. This outfit is just perfect for fall, throw on a coat and you are ready to slay with the perfect layers.

GOT MY FALL GLOW ON! FEEL BEAUTY PRODUCT REVIEW!!

Happy Fridays lovelies!! I hope you are all excited about the weekend. In today's post I'm sharing my love for these amazing beauty products by @feelbeauty. I got sent two products to review. One is a hair product (Beachy) which is a complete texture mist. The other is a self tanning glow kit (Glowing) which helps enhance and stimulate melanin.

Because I already have enough melanin. lol I have been using his product to even out my skin tone and trust me it actually gives me that extra glow that I need/would be needing this fall/winter season when the sun goes into hiding.

Beachy(hair mist) review;  The hair mist helped with the texture of my low cut natural hair. Especially when I'm on the go and don't feel like wearing my wig, I spray the mist on and move it around with my fingers, after allowing it to air dry my hair looks gorgeous. This mist actually softens the hair which is why I love it.

GLOWING (Self Tanning); I love having that evenly toned skin with that extra glow. This product has got me feeling extremely beautiful inside and out. I showed the process in pictures of how I got the perfect glow using this product. I had a sugar scrub with my homemade sugar and coconut oil scrub , before applying this product. Let's talk about this below!!!

FOR THE LOVE OF NAVY x RUFFLES x COMFORT!!!

Happy Hump Day my lovelies!! I hope everyone's having a great day so far. I personally took today off and ild be spending some time with my family and shopping as well. 

In today's, post i am sharing my love for all things Navy, ruffle and comfort. Lets talk about comfort a little bit. Its all about being free from pain or constraints, which heartbreaking for me to say but truthfully, high heeled shoes bring. 

This look is all about being stylish yet comfortable hence, my flat pair of shoes. If you've been following me on this journey, you would know i have a thing for wearing the color blue particularly Navy blue.

Which brings me to this point where i share my short story about HOW I HAVE RESTYLED ALL THIS PIECES.

During the summer i purchased this ruffle off the shoulder top from +boohoo.com . I also purchased this navy pant in a coord set from +ASOS . What other time but fall to style both pieces. This fall shades of blue are really in and i must remind you that i was totally out of outfit ideas for this look. When i figured out what i wanted to style i reminded myself that sometimes i want to look casual but still be a stunner. I will be sharing how i am able to recycle my clothing in another post.

I also paired this outfit with a red bag, great contrast i think. What are your thoughts? My oversized Celine style glasses from @fxshnjunkestore has also been a winner for me lately. This outfit can be worn casually and as always if you want to switch it up, just put on a pair of high heeled shoes, roll down the ankle and you are good to go.

SUMMER x FALL!!

Happy Monday loves, I hope everyone's starting the new week on a positive note. In today's posts I'm sharing my love for this Ankara two piece by labels by rhallykhan.  This is one of my favorite brands at the moment. I will be doing a made in Nigeria couple of days or week long post. So stay tuned. 

I'm really enjoying the few sunny days I have left. Quite frankly i can't seem to decide if I want to let go of summer but I also I'm so ready for the boot season as I call it.

 This two piece seems like a dress which I love so much. I paired it with my boot and my sling bag. I. Would recommend this outfit for those in very hot cities like mine at the moment, or paired with a trench coat or a jacket it would pass for the  chilly days in your city. This outfit is appropriate for weddings, casual outings and all other events.

  Oh, I also added my choker to this look for that added sauce.. lol. I hope you get inspired to wear Nigerian brands and style your African prints too.

ITS FALL SEASON SO LETS TALK ABOUT KHAKI!!

One of my favorite things to style is a great midi dress but this mock khaki dress by fxshnjunkestore is everything . I love how calm this color is too 

The mock neck design of his dress is gorgeous. I have not  started layering for the fall seasons but I definitely will start posting some layered outfits.  I paired this outfit with my diy sock shoe which I will be discussing in another blog post.  Running off to sleep real quick sorry for the short posts loves,

METALLIC x DAMASK!!

Hello love, i have been MIA, trust me i am always working on good content. I have come to a point where if its not as great , I just don't want to post it. So bear with me guys!!

 In today's post i have styled this damask tiered or layered dress. I must say is so mini for me but its just the perfect dress for date night/ weddings or even dinners or brunch. I paired this damask dress with my favorite silver sandals. I really should get  a new pair. lol

This outfit was really easy to style, im not much of an accessories person so trust me when i say adding a little bit of bling bling here and there would have made a difference. Also, this dress color falls into the perfect shades for fall which i love so much.

I styled this look last month and only just blogged about it. I have a reason guys?

 Thats exactly what happened to me on this occasion, definitely a love/hate situation. Note to self, never stare to long at you outfit or picture. Still looking for the brand of this dress as i gave the dress out this week so bear with me.

I BELIEVE I CAN FLY !! PONCHO x BURGUNDY!!

           Hello my gorgeous readers!! With so much going on in my life I can only continue to strive to promote my brand. So happy that you all take your time out to read my posts. Most importantly I hope you get style inspiration! I always say it's not rocket science that's why you've got me and I've got you my lovelies!!

In today's post I'm sharing my first fall outfit if he season. It's pretty easy on the eye and trust me I love the fact that I am wearing one of my favorite fall colors (burgundy).  It's getting sort of chilly in the city of Htown, so I've literally been layering on with this gorgeous plaid poncho.

I've had people ask me is it a blanky or a shawl!! To be honest I got so tired of answering but the bottom mlone is they were feeling the babe!! Lol!!

Boots are one of my things and definitely love comfortable bootiies. This one is one of my favorite but guess what it's borrowed from my sister. I will be doing a post on how both my sisters closets are my shopping malls sometimes.. Hahahah

This burgundy dress is so comfy, if you look closely it's slightly loose. This is because it's a size bigger that it should be but I thought oh well I love this dress and will style it. I promise you the dress is as ribbed as it looks and indeed very thick.

                 My question now is Do you believe you can fly?

That's the exact feeling I had when I got hold of this piece. I was going for a hood/ badass chic type of vibe. My DURAG has made its appearance too.

As  you all know it's sweater weather/bomber jacket season hence, I paired this outfit with my bomber for more comfort.

PEPLUM PANTS x PEPLUM SLEEVED TOP!!

Hello loves, I hope you all had a great weekend . So I was a little MIA this weekend. Spent most of my time researching outfit ideas for the fall season. 

Tell me what styles and outfits you would love to see me style this fall season. 

Today's, outfit is yet another glamorous one. Yes!! You guessed right, by @labelss___ on Instagram. Currently loving all things by labels and I will be working with labels to create my outfits for my brand to you all. 

I've styled this peplum sleeved top and pant, popularly called the flare sleeves. This outfit showcases two main colors that are considered hot this fall army green and nude/camel. 

This outfit can be worn to different occasions and I promise you this period I'm sharing my own styles that I would have loved to  wear at New York fashion week ( if I had attended). Yes that occasion/event!! Lol

I paired this outfit with a nude pair of pumps and a nude pair of sunnies. Trust me, I really don't want to say goodbye to summer but I'm so ready for fall. I have a couple of fall collaborations coming up soon and can't wait to share with you guys soon.

(ANKARA MIX AND MATCH) GOODBYE SUMMER!! HELLO FALL!!

          Last day of summer (2016) has me feeling some type of way!! Its like that love hate relationship I have with Whoppers chocolate just because i cant get my hands on some Maltesers. Summer sixteen has truly been a memorable one. Although I hate to say goodbye, i certainly have too.

 Scratch that sad introduction!! lol. I am so happy that one of my favorite seasons is here already. So many fall styles and colors are already giving me so much life and i cant wait to style fall outfits.

          Also i have some collaborations coming up soon on the blog with some amazing fashion bloggers this fall!1 im so excited about it!!

     Lets talk about today's outfit. Posted this look on Monday but only got around to blog it today. My complete outfit is by @labels___ by rhallykhan on Instagram. Its safe to say that i am a brand ambassador and definitely recommend that you try them out.

    This  look works well for any event, talk about versatility!! Also im looking to incorporate more African print styles on the blog.

I love how the fabric has this fingerprints print. Mixing and matching is also an interesting aspect of styling for me, totally love this look. I have paired this outfit with my favorite ninewest sandals. They are so comfortable and stylish im all for that.

PUFFY SLEEVES x AZTECH PRINT MIDI SKIRT!!! + FALL STYLE TRENDS!!

       Fall is just around the corner. This fall season you can expect to see some metallic, velvet, offtheshoulder/coldshoulder styles, menswear/embroidery details, florals (who would have thought this will be a fall fave), faux fur, leathers/pleathers, jumpers, streetwears, statement chokers, embellished capes, chunky heels/soles , including sleeves of all kinds  flare, bell sleeves, ruffles and my gorgeous puffy sleeved top.  

      As much as i am looking to try out this trends, i am really hoping to try out the unexpected combinations and nail the look. So stay tuned!

       My Puffy sleeve top is another @labels___ item and I absolutely love it. I have paired t with my extra midi aztech print skirt from burlinton one of my favorite stores. This skirt color is just perfect for this season. Ild share a quick secret! its probably #TMI but heres what happened to me while selecting this outfit.
                               
           What will you do when you plan an outfit, you get to your location and it turns out that the outfit isnt as put together as you thought. lol... Well what i simply did was redo the shoot because i knew i could do better with this look and here you go guys!!! Tell me what you think below.

STRIPED JUMPSUIT x FLARED SLEEVES

Hello loves, happy mid week if I may say so ... Can't believe how fast this month in particular has gone by. I still remember my happy new month at the beginning of September ...whew!! 

In today's post I'm sharing my love for the cutest jumpsuit ever. Again it's by the amazing @labels__ I love everything about this look. I can totally say this is definitely my style. 

The stripes are perfect for fall, the way that the white and red are infused on the outfut really works well.  The jumpsuit is a plunge neckline which I appreciate. Although, it might have been a little to much for someone with my body type.

This jumpsuit can be worn to different  occasions, it's so perfect I love it... My jumpsuit is by @labels__ , My shoes by primark and as you might have notice my favorite sunnies by Elie Tahari.

Happy holidays to my Muslim readers. Happy Monday to everyone. I hope you are all able to seize every moment of today, i am sure mondays are not usually the best as it is always hectic and stressful. My advice will be to make the most out of every situation or day.
