In today's post im sharing my love for  this double knotted outfit. I like this casual weekend look and yes lets talk about the slippers. I really love giving credits to slippers for comfort they give. Hence, this slippers gets moment in this post. 

My front knotted skirt is just so amazing, paired with this gorgeous orange knotted top. Whats not to love . lol.

SUMMER FLORALS x BLUES

Wearing floral print in the summer is actually fun. I love how this dress is very simple yet stylish.

This dress is one of my current favorites this summer. Very appropriate for any occasions in the summer.

Ive paired thsi dress with my favorite sandal. It is very comfortable and adds that touch of simplicity.

PRINTS AND FRILLS!!!

Lets talk about prints and frills in todays blog post. I hope you all had an amazing day and are ready for the weekend. 

In todays blog post im sharing my love for this frill top and this pleated skater skirt. The skirt is and Ankara print skirt, love me some African print.. hehehehe

My entire outfit is from my sisters and I s Instagram store (@Styledbydsis) where we have a ton of African print styles among st others.

I paired this outfit with this cognac lace up sandals, very comfortable. I feel like lately im really all about comfort when it comes to my shoes.

CRISP WHITE SHIRT + WHITE DENIM

A crisp white outfit in the summer  is a staple for me. Ive had a previous post where i talked about white being a vibrant summer color.

I have now come to terms with the fact that white suits me so well, not sure it does with everybody or skin tone. I especially love the simplicity of this color and outfit.

In todays post ive styled this white dip hem top. The back of this top is everything for me. i paired this outfit with one of my favorite high waited white jeans. Ive found that a good pair of white jeans is one that is really hard to come by.

I would totally wear this outfit casually or to an event as i am all about fashion and styling that is very versatile. The perfect and most comfortable part of this outfit is my thin strapped silver sandals. Oh so comfortable. I never feel any kind of pain.

I really hope you get inspired to style a crisp white outfit before the end of summer.

VISOR + OFF THE SHOULDER DRESS + BOOTS

Hello loves, how are you doing? Happy new month. I hope you are ready to take on the month in a very positive way. Im feeling not  bad in a bad way if that makes sense.

In todays post im sharing my love this off the shoulder dress. This look was inspired by  Nigerian artist  Tiwa Savages music video (BAD) Watch Here.  Hence, this why im feeling very badass in todays outfit. I love how the stylist put together several gorgeous outfits for Tiwa in this video. 

She had a visor on and since ive been rocking braids lately and my visor has been my go to thing for those days when the edges refuse to cooperate.

Ive styled my knee high boots early, although fall is around the corner and the boots will soon be out to play... heehehehe. I really wore my pair of boots to give the vibe i was going for. Thanks to Francis Bassey Photography for always bringing my vision to reality.

OVERALL + OFF THE SHOULDER TOP

Can we first of all talk about this gorgeous sleeves of my off the shoulder top. I love how simple yet chic this outfit and look is. I must say i feel well put together in this outfit.

Ive paired my overall which i previously styled on in one of my posts.  This look is a more casual outfit. I also think that it depends on how you prefer to look or what defines your own style. I would wear this outfit for drinks or even  to more serious events.

I also paired this look with my red and black sandals. They are oh so comfortable. Did i mention that ive had them for years too,

 Finally, a little cat eye sunglasses effect to take this look to the next level too..lol But seriously ladies, will you be rocking your overalls like this summer? and even the early days of fall.

THE BLUE HUE!!

Hello loves, how are you all doing. I have a quick question for you. Have you found the right color that compliments your skin tone yet? Guess what, I have found mine.

In todays post im sharing my love for yet another gorgeous outfit including my fave color blue and one of my favorite things to wear, denim.

Ive styled this very casual blue crop top. Its probably not so crop but i love how it sits on my waistline, well technically my jeans. In case you were wondering my my belly area looks funny. Its because i have a pair of mom jeans shorts on. 

Mom jeans are totally from the 60's and 70's. A sort of high waist style that has a very distinct loo to it. I call it the crouch gripper. lol . Thats what all my mom jeans tend do to you.

I have also paired this look with my favorite blue court shoes. I would suggest you can also style throw on a pair of lace up sandals or sneakers if you like.

MONDAY BLUES!!!

Thankful for yet another week loves. Its never an easy task to do what you love consistently as there will be ups and downs. This is why staying focused is really important. I am wishing you all a very fruitful week.

What do you think? is it me or summer is going so fast that I can still remember the first day of summer.. lol... I believe that we should make the most of the remaining sunny days, hence this outfit..

I have paired this lace top with a bralet and a pair of jeans. This look is more casual, comfortable and chic. Some of the things i love the most in an outfit. 

I love how stylish this look is and again blue is a winner in my dictionary as it goes well with my skin tone.

MOCHA FRIDAY!!!

Its a coincident that my outfit matches my mocha frappe. I hope you all had an amazing Friday. Heres a casual Friday post. I have always talked about wearing short shorts this summer and being comfortable in my skin by wearing crops or not so short shorts.

I have paired my DIY white tshirt with a crop. My DKNY sneakers are just perfect for running weekend errands. Its very important to be very comfortable especially during the weekend. This outfit is perfect for also hanging out with friends or even quick meet ups.

This look is very simple and laid back. I love how comfortable i feel in this outfit. I also have a matching pair of sunglasses on, its summertime!!!I will be posting some DIY stuff on here for you all to see.

RUFFLE NECK MAXI DRESS!!!

           This summer im loving maxi dresses. This ruffle neck maxi dress is just so gorgeous and perfect for summer.

           I can wear this maxi to a brunch, church , to the beach or even to a major event. I paired this dress with a a block heeled lace up sandal and my brown bag.

CASUAL BOHEMIAN CHIC!

 

                          Hello loves, I hope you all are having a great Thursday. I'm super excited about how close the weekend is. I bet you are too.

                           In todays post I'm sharing this casual look from a shoot I had a few weeks ago but only got to make to the blog today. hahaha.

                           I have paired this off the shoulder frill sleeves top with this printed pants. I love how casual and laid back this look is. I also have my sandals on for a more appropriate casual look for summer, hey its summertime!!.

                           I'm still searching fro the perfect woven hat, but I love this black hat from forever 21 too. A pair of sunglasses is very essential during the summer and I must confess I love everything off the shoulder hence this top. I'm trying to do away with high heels as well  and I'm clearly loving my flats.

LACE AND SKORT

Hello loves, its been a minute since I posted last. I hope everyone's been enjoying the summer. I have been enjoying the summer season. Clearly I am loving every bit of it which is why in todays post I'm sharing my first summer short shorts post, however, this is a skort take on summer shorts.

A skort as the name implies is a combination of a skirt and a short Sk-ort. This tribal print skort is one of my favorite shorts to wear this summer. Its very comfortable to slip on even though I might be a little worried of showing off a little too much but i love this look so much.

I paired this look with a gorgeous gold detailed knee high gladiator sandal. This outfit is perfect for a casual day look with comfortable shoes or a night out with the ladies which is one of the ways i wore mine.

BLACK x OFF THE SHOULDER x FLARE SLEEVES

Its not a surprise that i am clothed in yet another off the shoulder outfit. I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July celebration yesterday.

In today's post im sharing my love for this black off the shoulder dress from boohoo. I like the flared sleeves as I am currently loving anything from ruffles to flared designs amongst others.

I wore this outfit to an event recently and got loads of compliments from people while i was doing this photoshoot.

RED, BLUE AND WHITE; BRUNCH OUTFIT INSPIRTAION; JULY 4TH;SERIES 3 OF 3

   Happy Saturday my loves. I hope everyone's ready for the long weekend ahead. I just got back from running errands and  now I am getting ready to make some delicious rack of ribs . heheheh.

In today's post I sharing my love for scarf/envelope dresses and since i attended a bloggers brunch last week i decided it is only appropriate to share a perfect brunch dress that also screams July 4th.

The colors of this dress just go perfectly with this seasons theme and the print is just as abstract as it can get which is one of my favorite prints to style.

    This dress is from Burlington one of my current favorite stores and i love how free and comfortable it makes me feel. I also paired this with this heel slippers. I am gradually loving chunky sneakers, sandals and slippers.
