I cannot believe it! its been months since I put up a blog post. As always im living my reality my loves. It could be better, I could be on a schedule but when life hits you, you have got to hit life right back. That's the point that I am at.

                                      

SPRING HAS SPRUNG + CLOUD IS BIG ENOUGH INSPIRATION

It’s been a few months sisnce my last blog post! This year is going by so fast! I hope that you all are starting to reap the results of your new year resolutions. There’s still plenty of time so don’t loose faith y’all. 

In today’s post I’m so excited about spring and how amazing the weather in houston is getting. Bro I just want to stay in this weather all year, can I?

This outfit is spring inspired, striped dresses and shift dresses with ruffles, rouge and more are in this season. They also have a vintage style to it, kinda like that 80’s glam!!  Which is why I fell in love with this dress. Super cute, chic and well detailed I received a lot of compliments on the day of shoot. 

I decided to keep the detail minimal with this look as the dress itself is a show stopper already... hehehehe!! 

I paired this look with this vintage style round clip on earrings from @cititrends. It’s very simple yet chic. 

The length of this dress was perfect enough for a night out and decent enough for a day dress to brunch. I love everything about this look. 

A basic full shot wouldn’t do justice so a close up shot of the sleeve detail is everything. I can’t even start to explain more it’s already self explanatory. 

 It was tough but I finally decided  to pair this dress with a rose gold sandal after several attempts to Brian storm on the shoe to wear and I failed. My clutch is a simple chic sling bag by Prada. My favorite as well.

Before I wrap up, let’s talk about the cloud being big enough for us all to fit in. I started blogging 4 years ago now. I’ve had to learn the business and branding from my point of view. Many will say there are too many blogger out there, doing the same thing. I never saw myself in that way. I always see myself as a unique being and I’m always blooming where I’m planted. 

You see, if you see yourself a certain way! 10 times out of 10 you are what you see or how you see yourself! My last Instagram post, I looked at myself in the picture and what  I thought of myself instantly was my caption. I said “ Nobody wants to eat spaghetti bolognese without the sauce - I’m the Sauce”.  Honestly, that’s how I truly think about myself everyday. 

I want you to do the same, proclaim what you want and it will happen, pray to God and he will answer and also put in the work and act on your dreams and it will come to pass!!

Happy Friday loves, first of all I want to talk about my first snow in Houston since the last time I saw the snow in when I lived in London. It was such a sight today! More than anything I was so delighted and enjoyed every moment of making snow balls. This will be a memory to keep for the future.

Two weeks ago I was in San Diego California, on a short vacation trip with my family. I decided to bring you guys a few of my favorite moments and tell you about the places I visited, just in case you are planning to visit San Diego or Los Angeles California and you get stuck. 

I contemplated this trip for about two days before finally deciding to travel. My fear of heights which makes it so difficult for me to fly really scared me. But I thought about passing up such a great time and experience and the feeling after for me was errrrr... Ild go!!

Are you counting down Loves!!Its only two days left till the end of the year 2016. I really don't know how time flew by so fast, but I am pretty sure that this year has been a great one for me.

A lot of times, I've spent my NYE in the church and in the club too (don't judge me). I was really loooking for an outfit that works perfectly for both.

SWEATER WEATHER x STARBUCKS

Happy thanksgiving loves!! Here's a quick post on this jumper and jeans look I posted on my instagram a few days ago. 

This look is very simple and easy to put together. I am living in my sweaters/jumpers and jeans this season. All I do is just throw on a coat and I'm good to go.

DENIM x BANDANA x MONDAY BLUES!!

Hello loves how are you doing? It's the start of a new week, with one day down. I'm sure we are all looking forward to the end of the week already. Lol. 

In today's post I'm sharing one of my favorite things, my current obsession {bandana}. I litterally wear a bandana on everything lately. 

I have paired this black jersey skirt and plain tshirt  with a denim jacket. The bandana was my take on a choker which matched my mint green shoes. 

I love how simple yet chic this look is. I can effortlessly slay on any occasion.

WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW: INSTAGLAM FEATURE

Morning loves, how you doing?. Lol. It's throwback Thursday and I want to throwitalltheway back to Tuesday 8th of March, 2016. 

I was at work and suddenly my stone starts buzzing. People were telling me that they had just seen me on The WendyWilliams Tv Show, in the instaglam segment. 

I was featured on the show, read the original outfit blogpost  here . Glad she loved my style and I'm proud of myself and I know my parents, siblings, friends and family are also proud of me. 

It's so humbling to be doing what you love and get noticed for it in a postive way. The link to that segment of the show is not yet online, so I watched it live and tv and filmed it from my tv screen with my phone, hence the poor quality picture screenshots. 

In today's, post I wasn't to encourage you to chase your dreams, you might not see gains immediately, but when God decides that it's time for him to uplift you nothing can stop you.

MIXING PRINTS : BLOCK PRINTS !

I always imagine how each outfit will look before I decide to go for a photoshoot. A lot of mental research goes into piecing an outfit together. 

First, I get inspiration from different sources, envision the look and decide to piece it together to see if it will look good together. 

I've been thinking of ways to style prints and mix colors as well as pattern as I've found that to be one of the aspects that I have not really played around with. 

Hence, this look was born out of the thought of working with prints and seeing how they will look eventually. 

Can you see how the block prints on the top is white and the print on the skater skirt is black ? This will serving as a great transition so that everything does not look like a hot mess! Lol.

I paired this look with my current favorite ankle boots and a panty hose to act as another layer to protect my skin from the cold. Btw, did you notice my big hair? Lol I finally decide to go big and not go home  *sticks tongue out*.

CHUNKY KNITS x SKINNYS

Yasss!!! It's Monday. I know a lot of us would say we wish that Monday's were optional just so that we can continue with having fun and resting like we did all weekend long. 

Let's make Monday's count by getting up and pursuing that dream, goal or aspiration we had or have. Make your Monday's count. 

I'm making my Monday count which is why this new blog post is up for you all. 

Lately, the cooler temps have sure made their mark on my looks. I just wear my skinnys and typically throw on a knitwear, jumper, cardigan... It's pretty easy to put on this look this season and to be honest it warms up my body. 

I put on a red oversize knit wear and a pair of blue skinny jeans. This look can pass for any event, even work and church. I always love it when I put simple looks together and get the most out of it. I also paired this look with a pair of black pointies to give it that classy and edgy look. I believe if paired with a very glamorous  pair of flat shoe will look equally as nice.

GRAYSCALE !!!!

Happy New Year loves... May this year bring every good thing to your doorsteps.

In today's post, I'm styling this all gray outfit.. For a minute I thought that I could wear shorts and skirts for the rest of this season until the weather in Houston changed big time. Lol .... Literally, the cold hit me hard, but hey...

Hence, layering is very important this season and as always the fact that I have layers on will not stop me from being true to my style and still remain fashionable.

I have paired a gray turtle neck jumper with gray pants, a gray coat and a pair of gray shoes.... I went in on the grays... 

Styling shades of different outfits is very easy as long as they are not more than 3 to 4 different shades. I also recommend pairing shades of any colors that are same, in between or slightly different...
