Khaki in Spring!!

So it's sleep time for me. But I Haven't forgotten this casual outfit post. It's pretty weird that I am posting something casual on a Monday. Heck, it doesn't really matter because there's no pattern to how things should be done... So enjoy this post loves. 

In today's blog post, I'm sharing my love for jersey outfits. I've always lived for jersey fabric. Until, I started to gain weight and felt very uncomfortable. Weight gain is constantly something I have to battle with but overtime I have found strategies to help me loose weight faster and by changing my lifestyle I'm able to overcome it. I will suggest that if you are going through the same thing don't always look for a quick fix, look for ways to adapt to a new way of life.  Which is why last month I decided to change my lifestyle and focus on being more healthy, guess I don't need to say more.. Lol. 

I paired this khaki top from forever 21 and this khaki skirt also from F21. 

I was going for a very casual look but aiming for a chic and sophisticated look too. To top this look up I paired the outfit with a silver pair of sandal. I love this look so much and expect more jersey outfits from me as summer approaches.

Blush x Blush

Hello loves, today's post is a blush outfit post.  This outfit is pretty much playful. This is probably the most daring I have gone with my looks. Especially with this plunge neckline body suit and this skater skirt. 

However, the look is just amazing. I find it very playful and a very casual look. Skater skirts are real in trend now, so why not style one.

DENIM x STRIPES !!

This post should have been uploaded earlier. It's never too late to post this very casual Friday outfit. 

This season one of the ways to rock your denim shirt will be to pair it with your striped pants or skirt. 

I love this look so much because it is so casual and laid back and very comfortable for Friday running around a into the weekend. 

The denim top is one of my old but favorite ones, and the stripped pants were tailored for me by my friend @rhallykhan who owns the brand @labels___ on Instagram, you should check her out. 

So when next you are thinking of what to wear casually do not think twice, pair that 

denim top with your stripped pants or skirt or the other way around.

DENIM x WHITE x BANDANA

Hey loves. How are you all doing?. In today post o have styled this white outfit and added a denim jacket ( my mums). 

My mums jacket was just perfect for this look and I really think that I will be styling a lot of white outfits soon.

FESTIVAL/ COACHELLA STAPLES!!

My loves, it's another weekend. I know everyone is excited. We can finally rest. 

In todays post I'm sharing my take on a Coachella/ festival inspired outfit. Coachella is around the corner (starts on the 15th of April). If you are still thinking of an outfit idea. I'm here to help you with this post. 

My take was to be very comfortable, so I picked up this maxi dress. I've found that chiffon dresses with belts and fringe or a cotton fabric outfit will work. I also put on a pair of gladiators during festivals you need not think about your heels unless you are an artist performing on stage. 

A hat is a must have this season and to the Coachella Yes! Yes! Yes!.it yells festival all the way. 

Another staple is your chocker. It could be all kinds of chokers but it's definitely going to add to the look. 

You do not need your big handbags, hence my favorite sling bag which is small comes in handy. 

A lot of the time a bohemian chic look will work for a festival an that's what I always go for. The outfit I wore to the rodeo Houston will also work for the Coachella. I will add the link to that post soon.

MINT SPRUNG!

Hello Loves,Damn Itoro here, back at it 

again with another blog post. I hope you all get the joke. How are all doing? I'm so excited that it is Friday already. This had been a long awaited post but here it is loves. 

In today's post I'm wearing this oldie but goodie outfit. I've had it for about two years, I've probably worn it differently on the blog. I love this outfit so much that I had to re rock it. 

The top is a mint part mesh crop top and the skirt is a skater skirt. I paired them with a pair of dangerously cute sandals. It adds so much to the outfit. 

This look can be worn to different occasions and events. I like how it can be worn out on a casual day, to brunch or even to the club. Having an outfit that I can easily switch from day time to night time outfit really makes me feel amazing. 

The mint colored outfit paired with a black sling bag and a pair of black sunglasses too. Love it!!

NUDE IN SPRING!!

Hello loves, how have you all been?. Bet great. In today's post I will be sharing this   Nude or beige outfit depending on what Color you want to call it ..Hahahaha. 

It's spring right, and everything should be colorful and pretty. But here's my take on going neutral this season and still loling amazing. 

I purchased this Coord set on boohoo online website. I decided to go a little monochromatic with this look, by pairing this look with a just fab nude and black pair of shoes. The retro sunglasses also gives it a bit of edginess. 

For this look I was going for an almost high fashion look so I decided to change my hairstyle to the short firinge. The split sides of the top also gives it a different look. This outfit can be worn to any event maybe not a wedding. However, I always say that it depends on how you carry yourself in an outfit.

TURTLE NECKS AND OVERALLS

Hello lovelies, Happy Easter. I hope that you are all celebrating our savior Jesus Christ this season. 

In today's post I've styled my overall differently. It became chilly here in Houston and I had to cover up without being extremely dressed for winter instead of spring. Lol!

I paired this turtle neck sweater with my denim overall. I was going for a minamal look and paired it with ankle boots. This has taken the outfit from simple to dope. Hahahah.

Pink Off the shoulder top x White jeans!!

Hey loves, how are you all doing today? Here's a quick post on one of my favorite items (the off the shoulder top). 

This trend has got me so much that everytime I want to purchase pieces I see an off shoulder top or dress and have to have it .

I've paired this pink and white off the shoulder top with this pair of white jeans to give it a contrasting color. 

The pink detail on the black sandal adds a deeper color  contrast  to the outfit. 

This cape designed  off the shoulder top can be worn to events and even casually for brunch or meetings with a friend(s).

OFF THE SHOULDER x STRIPES x OVERALL

Hello lovelies, how has your Saturday  been?.  Super excited because it's my birthday in a few hours ( March 20) . 

In today's post I've styled this striped off the shoulder top and this overall aka dungaree. I love this look because it's very casual and would also pass for a high fashion look. The overall trend is really big right now and I thought why not pair this with the off the shoulder top trend which is really big right now. 

I paired this look with black heeled shoes  to add that extra classy look to it. My sunglasses are by Tahari which is one of my current favorite sunglasses. (I will be doing sunglasses reviews in view of  those hot sunny days in summer).

FLORALS AND FUNNEL SLEEVES (RODEO CHIC) !!

Hello loves, happy ST Patrick's day.  How has your spring break been so far ? (If you have been on spring break).  I've been having so much fun as well as resting. 

In today's post I've styled this funnel sleeved, floral print mini dress. I went for the rodeo here in Houston, yesterday and I had an amazing time . 

In a bid to look different from the regular rodeo look ( cowboy boots, plaids, denim). I decided to go for a bohemian chic look. I love this outfit so much that I intend to rerock it and restyle it .. Lol. I changed a few of the pieces I wore to the rodeo. For the rodeo I decided to wear a hat and switch the pointed heels for more chunky heels which are more comfortable.This look sums up my spring essentials. I will be sharing pictures from the rodeo with below.

STRIPES AND PASTELS !!!

I'm currently loving stripes and what other way to spice up this look than pairing it with some pastels (very springy). 

In today's post im sharing this amazing two piece made for me by my bespoke tailor friend Rhallykhan on Instagram. She makes clothes to specific preference and request. 

I love this striped two piece especially the flare top which is very comfortable. The pants are wide legs which is one of my favorite ones too this season. The mint green accessories add a little color to this outfit. I would say it makes it look more fun. I was going for a more serious and confident woman look so I put on this pair of glasses.

FLORALS x LACE = PASTELS!

Cheers to the weekend loves. This is a long awaited post. I've been tad busy but I'm so happy that I get to finally post this look. 

Spring is around the corner that's why  In today's post I've styled this floral print Cami top and this lace scalloped end blush mini skirt. 

I get to wear my shorts and mini skirts this season and I am super excited about it. I paired this outfit with this gorgeous aubergine pair of shoes. I've also put on a pink choker if you can spot it for that added glamour.

Hello lovelies, happy new month.. I promise you all you have no idea how busy I've been lately. But here's a new blog post as I will not dare to neglect you guys.

CASUAL FRIDAY!! BACK TO BASICS

Really excited today for whatever reason. But mostly because God has been too good to me and yes it's Friday. 

After a long exhausting week I really like to unwind and relax. Let my hair down, soak in Epsom salt and water, pour myself a glass of red wine and fall asleep. 

You know it's already weekend when you do this..hehehehe... 

Today's post is pretty much easy to put together outfit for my ladies that don't go to work on Fridays. If your Friday's pretty much includes running errands this would be the prefect outfit. Maybe not with this heels though... 

However, if it involves hanging out with friends, my ladies I got you covered... 

Ive thrown on a basic top I can't emphasize how much you need wardrobe basics. A good pair of jeans are just perfect for this look as you want to be very comfortable... 

Finally, I added a pair of cognac heeled sandals but would recommend a pair of trainers if you need a more comfortable pair of shoes.

It's Friday ladies, and I'm so excited.. I wanted to share this work outfit inspiration with you. So I know it's weekend but this is one of the outfits I wore to work during the week. You all know I love me some all black. 

This outfit was inspired by Skinnyhipster on Instagram and I loved this looks... Very conservative and chic got everybody complimenting me ...

BERRY X DENIM

Although the weather is a little bit confused, cold today and got tomorrow. 

However, I'm so anxious that spring starts soon. The  season wear I put away all my knitwears and sweaters. 

In today's post I'm sharing the perfect way to wear your mum jeans short and a pair of socks. I was reminiscing and missed the days when I used to wear socks and shoes I'm London. I like this look for those early days in spring. It's still chilly so you wear your turtle neck top. 

The socks and socks keep your feet warm and the denim shirt is what I would thrown on if the weather  gets worse..

NEUTRALS !!

 I've always wanted to style an all neutral outfit.Found this gorgeous pieces and finally, I was able to put together this neutral look. 

I was a bit sceptical but as soon as I pieced this taupe curved hem dress, gray coat and nude pair of sandals, I knew it was going to be an epic look. 

This outfit is for the cooler temps in Houston. Those days that are a little bit windy but not exactly cold.

I paired a denim shirt with this Ankara print  skirt and a pair of tan heels to go with the tan on the skirt.

This look is what I would define as the perfect Friday work outfit. I know that when I was in Nigerian I always looked forward to wearing my African attire to work.

In today's post, I have put together a very casual and laid back look . This outfit is very Friday (Friyay) or weekend appropriate ... I wonder what you do during weekends but I bet it involves running errands and what other way to feel comfortable in this gorgeous pair of fancy trainers. 

I have a bodycon pair of active tights on. The best thing is it helps righting your muscles as you run errands. 

The facecap and tutle neck top just fit right with this look. It's a little bit chilly hence, the turtle neck.
