OMBRE x PLEATS

 Hello loves, I hope you all had an amazing Mother's Day celebration?. Because I did. I sent my mum the sweetest message ever to show her how proud I am of her and so glad that she is my mum. 

It's the month of May already!!! Can someone please tell me why the year is going by so fast. Anyhoo, im excited because it's almost summertime. Can't wait to switch up my style and outfits and travel fingers crossed. 

In today's post im sharing my love for pleated skirts. This ombre pleated skirt is everything. Very brezzy, comfortable and just so stylish. I will definitely be styling this again soon. 

I paired this ombre skirt with a blue bodysuit and a pair of blue shoes. I added a silver choker to give me that added vavavoom look... Lol. 

This outfit is so stylish and I can see myself wearing this out with friends, with a jacket t work or church, or putting my skirt in a knot and heading to the beach.. Hehehe.. Khaki in Spring!!

So it's sleep time for me. But I Haven't forgotten this casual outfit post. It's pretty weird that I am posting something casual on a Monday. Heck, it doesn't really matter because there's no pattern to how things should be done... So enjoy this post loves. 

In today's blog post, I'm sharing my love for jersey outfits. I've always lived for jersey fabric. Until, I started to gain weight and felt very uncomfortable. Weight gain is constantly something I have to battle with but overtime I have found strategies to help me loose weight faster and by changing my lifestyle I'm able to overcome it. I will suggest that if you are going through the same thing don't always look for a quick fix, look for ways to adapt to a new way of life.  Which is why last month I decided to change my lifestyle and focus on being more healthy, guess I don't need to say more.. Lol. 

I paired this khaki top from forever 21 and this khaki skirt also from F21. 

I was going for a very casual look but aiming for a chic and sophisticated look too. To top this look up I paired the outfit with a silver pair of sandal. I love this look so much and expect more jersey outfits from me as summer approaches.

Happy Saturday loves, how are you all doing. Here's a quick Saturday casual post. 

As you all know I love being classy with my looks and outfits, but I totally don't see anything with a lady who is classy with a bit of hood . Lol... 

Hence, this is a great way to not only incorporate your bandanas to your look. But also dress down and casual on a Saturday or weekend. 

I paired this off the shoulder sky blue top, with this ripped jeans. I love the color contrast that comes with the spring season. One of my current fave shoes is the pastel blue from just fab too ,which is what I have paired with this outfit. 

This is totally me going out casually and always slaying because that is what I air for.. Hahahah.

SPRING FAVE SHOES !!

Hello loves, how Is your day going?  I initially planned for this post to go up last night, but anyhow, when I get distracted I tend to just leave it and wait till I'm in the right frame of mind to write a good piece for you all. 

In today's post I'm sharing my current mood through these pairs of shoes. Currently I've been loving these pastel pairs of shoes. I love spring and it is one of my favorite time of the year. I love that I can play with different shades of a certain color. 

Let's talk about comfortable shoes, these shoes are very comfortable.  I love being able  stand in my shoes for hours without feeling like I carried a bucket of water on my head. Lol. Well that's how I know my shoes are great.

SHADES OF BLUE !!

Hello loves, how has your day been so far? Mine was a bit laid back, bad weather got me feeling some type of way.

 Before I start this post this is one of those shoots that I had when I was feeling bloated so please excuse the excessive and over exergerated  areas. Lol.

In today's post I'm sharing my take on playing with shades of blue. This spring pastels are really one of my favorite color tones. This navy trouser suit from is Asos Here is one that I will be restyling. Lol. 

I paired this trouser suit with a sky blue bralet and a sky blue pair of shoes. It's really easy to style and piece outfits together which is why I am here to give you ideas.  I also wore this outfit to church yesterday but switched up the bralet for a more conservative look. 

This outfit can be worn to any occasion and you will slay, without the jacket you also have a more casual look which does not limit where or how you can wear this outfit.

DENIM x BANDANA x MONDAY BLUES!!

Hello loves how are you doing? It's the start of a new week, with one day down. I'm sure we are all looking forward to the end of the week already. Lol. 

In today's post I'm sharing one of my favorite things, my current obsession {bandana}. I litterally wear a bandana on everything lately. 

I have paired this black jersey skirt and plain tshirt  with a denim jacket. The bandana was my take on a choker which matched my mint green shoes. 

I love how simple yet chic this look is. I can effortlessly slay on any occasion.

FESTIVAL/ COACHELLA STAPLES!!

My loves, it's another weekend. I know everyone is excited. We can finally rest. 

In todays post I'm sharing my take on a Coachella/ festival inspired outfit. Coachella is around the corner (starts on the 15th of April). If you are still thinking of an outfit idea. I'm here to help you with this post. 

My take was to be very comfortable, so I picked up this maxi dress. I've found that chiffon dresses with belts and fringe or a cotton fabric outfit will work. I also put on a pair of gladiators during festivals you need not think about your heels unless you are an artist performing on stage. 

A hat is a must have this season and to the Coachella Yes! Yes! Yes!.it yells festival all the way. 

Another staple is your chocker. It could be all kinds of chokers but it's definitely going to add to the look. 

You do not need your big handbags, hence my favorite sling bag which is small comes in handy. 

A lot of the time a bohemian chic look will work for a festival an that's what I always go for. The outfit I wore to the rodeo Houston will also work for the Coachella. I will add the link to that post soon.

WEDDING OUTFIT INSPIRATION !!!

Hello loves, today's post is a little bit different as I am sharing a wedding outfit inspiration. I know a lot of you will be attending weddings since the weather is now cooler and the sun is starting to shine. 

This post wil help you to have an idea of one of my favorite outfit to wear to a wedding. If i don't wear a long Mermaid styled dress. You would find me in this gorgeous off the shoulder top and a full pleated floral skirt. 

This outfit was tailored to specifics by Ellamopatrick on Instagram. I love the fullness of the skirt, the floral print also screams spring which I also love. Paired this outfit with a very nice gold clutch and shoe. 

With this look too much of accessorizing was absolutely unnessecary so I decided to keep it simple.

Hello loves, it's shoetuesday and what better way to to start today but post one of my favorite looks.

This is a post that while be highlighting my love for abstract designs and all the pastel colors of this season. 

The dress has an abstract design. It's seems like so many things going on at the same time it is so beautiful and glam. This will actually be my business casual type of look if I'm not wearing pants or skirts. 

I paired his look with my current favorite shoes from INC, they have such a an amazing line, my DKNY purse and my Tahari sunglasses. Talk about simple yet chic.

MINT SPRUNG!

again with another blog post. I hope you all get the joke. How are all doing? I'm so excited that it is Friday already. This had been a long awaited post but here it is loves. 

In today's post I'm wearing this oldie but goodie outfit. I've had it for about two years, I've probably worn it differently on the blog. I love this outfit so much that I had to re rock it. 

The top is a mint part mesh crop top and the skirt is a skater skirt. I paired them with a pair of dangerously cute sandals. It adds so much to the outfit. 

This look can be worn to different occasions and events. I like how it can be worn out on a casual day, to brunch or even to the club. Having an outfit that I can easily switch from day time to night time outfit really makes me feel amazing. 

The mint colored outfit paired with a black sling bag and a pair of black sunglasses too. Love it!!

TURTLE NECKS AND OVERALLS

Hello lovelies, Happy Easter. I hope that you are all celebrating our savior Jesus Christ this season. 

In today's post I've styled my overall differently. It became chilly here in Houston and I had to cover up without being extremely dressed for winter instead of spring. Lol!

I paired this turtle neck sweater with my denim overall. I was going for a minamal look and paired it with ankle boots. This has taken the outfit from simple to dope. Hahahah.

Pink Off the shoulder top x White jeans!!

Hey loves, how are you all doing today? Here's a quick post on one of my favorite items (the off the shoulder top). 

This trend has got me so much that everytime I want to purchase pieces I see an off shoulder top or dress and have to have it .

I've paired this pink and white off the shoulder top with this pair of white jeans to give it a contrasting color. 

The pink detail on the black sandal adds a deeper color  contrast  to the outfit. 

This cape designed  off the shoulder top can be worn to events and even casually for brunch or meetings with a friend(s).

CORAL GLAM FOR BIRTHDAY!

Whoop whoop!! It was my birthday yesterday (march 20th).

To be honest I planned that it was going to be like everyother day, but the messages I recieved were enough to make me realize that my birthday will  always be a special day. 

I'm so grateful to God for another year and I'm so excited about what the next year has to offer. I thank everyone for the  the birthday wishes too. 

In today's post, I am not only sharing my birthday excitement but my love for this beautiful coral dress. 

It's almost prom season, so I figured this post will help my girls who are in search of the perfect prom dress. Also, Easter Sunday  is around the corner and there is no such thing as over dressing to church so this could be your church glam outfit.  ( cover that slit though.. Lol). 

This dress is really elegant. The detail around the neck was one of the reasons I purchased it. I was going for an outfit that didn't need much  accessorizing.

Hello lovelies, how has your Saturday  been?.  Super excited because it's my birthday in a few hours ( March 20) . 

In today's post I've styled this striped off the shoulder top and this overall aka dungaree. I love this look because it's very casual and would also pass for a high fashion look. The overall trend is really big right now and I thought why not pair this with the off the shoulder top trend which is really big right now. 

I paired this look with black heeled shoes  to add that extra classy look to it. My sunglasses are by Tahari which is one of my current favorite sunglasses. (I will be doing sunglasses reviews in view of  those hot sunny days in summer).

FLORALS AND FUNNEL SLEEVES (RODEO CHIC) !!

Hello loves, happy ST Patrick's day.  How has your spring break been so far ? (If you have been on spring break).  I've been having so much fun as well as resting. 

In today's post I've styled this funnel sleeved, floral print mini dress. I went for the rodeo here in Houston, yesterday and I had an amazing time . 

In a bid to look different from the regular rodeo look ( cowboy boots, plaids, denim). I decided to go for a bohemian chic look. I love this outfit so much that I intend to rerock it and restyle it .. Lol. I changed a few of the pieces I wore to the rodeo. For the rodeo I decided to wear a hat and switch the pointed heels for more chunky heels which are more comfortable.This look sums up my spring essentials. STRIPES AND PASTELS !!!

I'm currently loving stripes and what other way to spice up this look than pairing it with some pastels (very springy). 

In today's post im sharing this amazing two piece made for me by my bespoke tailor friend Rhallykhan on Instagram. She makes clothes to specific preference and request. 

I love this striped two piece especially the flare top which is very comfortable. The pants are wide legs which is one of my favorite ones too this season. The mint green accessories add a little color to this outfit. I would say it makes it look more fun. I was going for a more serious and confident woman look so I put on this pair of glasses.

Hello loves happy Friday. It's the start of spring break and I am so excited about this holiday. 

In today's post I've styled this black and white striped dress. I love the distinction between the top white part of this dress and the bottom. 

I've paired this look with different colored shoes m. One white and the othe black. My inspiration for this look is the famous character, CRUELLA Devil ... 

This is just a fun outfit. I would wear this for street fashion and to fashion shows in general.

BLUE SPRING FLORALS

Hello loves, as you all know today is international women's day. I love how empowered women empower women.

Cheers to the weekend loves. This is a long awaited post. I've been tad busy but I'm so happy that I get to finally post this look. 

Spring is around the corner that's why  In today's post I've styled this floral print Cami top and this lace scalloped end blush mini skirt. 

I get to wear my shorts and mini skirts this season and I am super excited about it. I paired this outfit with this gorgeous aubergine pair of shoes. I've also put on a pink choker if you can spot it for that added glamour.
