Counting down to the  start of the new month. The Christmas month ( December). Where and how did time fly by?.

THINK BIG! RED SEASON; SWEATER x CULOTTES

Happy Tuesday loves, I hope you are having an awesome day so far. I am so ready for Christmas but truly it seems just like yesterday that the year began. I'm thankful for everything and so grateful for life in abundance.

red sweater

In today's post, I'm sharing my love for red and this gorgeous sweater weather is everything to me. I love this chunky cable knit sweater. It's a little oversized but very comfortable to slip into.
red booties

This season the color "RED" is the most seen and most styled and honestly, I can't get enough of it. I am constantly aiming to style the red trend in different ways.

winter fashion
I paired this knit wear with a pair of black cullotes. Very comfy and very easy to wear. Honestly, keeps me warm! What's the point of wearing a knit wear or sweater if it won't keep you warm. Lol.

Close up shot on the gorgeous dainty bracelet from my favorite brand @charmingcharlie. They have and awesome line and this dainty pieces are perfect for date night this season.

This look is a mix of casual yet chic, my pair of red booties take the outfit from casual to chic real quick. Although, they are not the most comfy they work well with any look and are very stylish. Want to purchase this red booties make sure you go a size up than your usual size.

Think Big is what came to my mind as I  write  this post. Honestly, so much has happened to me this year and I can truly say that it has been a mix of the good, the good and the ugly. No major bad stuff so far.

But I believed in my dreams and I even outdid myself and my expectations. I was able to put effort into what I believe in and made my dreams come to reality . My advice to you if you are reading this post now; there's still some time to make that dream a reality, start somewhere and always remember that your dreams have to scare you.

I want to appreciate those of us who struggle with photographers and photography in general. I want to thank my lover for an awesome session. Sessions that are effortless.

I hope you enjoyed reading today's post. Thank you for stopping by as always!

LAYERING TIPS & THE METALLIC DRESS

It's almost the middle of November. I still don't know if I've made the right choices this year. Not to go to school again amongst others. Lol!!!!

Yes, I have a masters degree but I still want to future my education by going to school again.

WINTER IS HERE! MIX PRINT x COAT

Happy Sunday loves, I should have posted last week because of all the nice comments I got on my Instagram page. Let's talk about mixing prints and still keeping your winter style fresh.

RUFFLED UP IN BLACK !!

Happy Monday loves!!! Can you believe that January is over already!Wow.

I hope you all made the most of this month. I made quite a number of decisions this month and took several steps in the right direction this month and I can't wait for what February has to offer.

Let's focus on positivity this year my loves. I really hope that you can take every situation as a learning experience.

CAMEL x CAMEL

Yay!!! It's mid week already! I totally love the weekends because I can rest and be in bed till I want to , so yes I'm looking forward to the weekend...lol.

In today's post I'm sharing how anxious I am for it to be winter , I so can't wait to start layering. In houston, the weather is so bipolar, I don't know when/if winter will ever come *sad face*.

A camel coat is such a wardrobe staple in the winter that if you don't have one now, you need to go and get one. Find out why below!!

CABLE KNIT DRESS !!

This past week I have been a little bit MIA on my blog. Thanks for visiting and reading my blog.

In todays post I've styled this turtleneck cable knit dress. I love the color and  how warm it keeps me.

I know a lot of my readers in other regions may want to see me dress for warmer temps, don't worry guys soon.

This brown dress is so snug and keeps me warm, I paired it with my kneehighboots to keep me warm.

Don't you just love dark lipsticks, I quite do. This is a very casual look and I will be wearing this out to work or with my girls on a night out this season.

I hope you enjoyed this post... Stay Stylish.. See outfit details and more pictures below :

WRAP DRESS x LAYERS

I talk about layering everytime. The weather is not nippy or chilly it's absolutely cold. The type of weather that you don't want to mess with unless you are intentionally trying to teach everyone including yourself how to catch pneumonia 101, *jokes* it's that cold.

Hence, moving away from layering with coats. You don't realize how heavy coats are especially when it's actual wool so I decided to try out layering comfortably underneath my actual dress and it worked.

In today's post, I styled this army green wrap dress. The ton of layering is under just for extra protection from the cold.

The turtle neck top is from forever21 and I selected a turtle neck because covering the neck is very important, I also have a thermal wear and finally a black leggings from forever 21 underneath.

For this season, one very good knee high boot is all you need hence, my gorgeous, stylish Micheal Antonio boots from Dsw this will keep your feet from feeling numb.

I intend to start taking pictures of my outfit before shoots so that I can show you better especially outfits that have to do with layering like this outfit.

I hope you like this post, Stay Stylish.

MONOCHROMATIC | SHADES OF BLUE

Hello loves, how are you doing today?.

Today's post is very different from my regular post. I'm sure you are all wondering whose in the pictures with me. Don't ponder too long ... Lol.

This is a collaboration post featuring the amazing, African queen Lolaomonaija on Instagram. She is a fashion enthusiast and also loves everything about kinky hair or Natural. I hope you all believe me when I say that's her real hair in the picture.

In today's post, Lola and I are styling this all blue outfits. We love the color blue and find it to be a very bold color hence our decision to style the color blue in different ways.

I styled a blue bodycon dress paired with a pair of blue pointies from Aldo, a blue ninewest  bag and finally finished off this look with a camel coat as it is tad cold in Houston. On the other hand, Lola decided to style a pair of blue pants, blue Cami top, paired with a blue strapped sandals and a blue coat.

Styling this looks were pretty easy and as I always advice going monochromatic or styling shades of a certain color is always the easiest way to kickstart your journey to finding your perfect style, colors and shades that suit your skin tone as well as what not to wear.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Hopefully, it inspires you to add bold colors to your wardrobe and style them in different ways.

Show our guest some love by adding her on Instagram: Lolaomonaija and if you want to find out more about natural hair or kinky and crochet hair add her on YouTube Lola_lollyy.

Stay stylish.. See more pictures and outfit details below.

GRAYSCALE !!!!

Happy New Year loves... May this year bring every good thing to your doorsteps.

In today's post, I'm styling this all gray outfit.. For a minute I thought that I could wear shorts and skirts for the rest of this season until the weather in Houston changed big time. Lol .... Literally, the cold hit me hard, but hey...

Hence, layering is very important this season and as always the fact that I have layers on will not stop me from being true to my style and still remain fashionable.

I have paired a gray turtle neck jumper with gray pants, a gray coat and a pair of gray shoes.... I went in on the grays...

Styling shades of different outfits is very easy as long as they are not more than 3 to 4 different shades. I also recommend pairing shades of any colors that are same, in between or slightly different...

I wonder what your weather is like wherever you are reading this post from please leave a comment and let me know..

I hope this post inspires you to layer and remain stylish.

Stay stylish... See outfit details and more pictures below:

TWIRLING IN BLACK!

Twirling in today's post. I had a lot of fun styling this outfit as well as during his photoshoot by F.Bassey photography (IG).

I was looking for a fun way to style my tulle skirt in the winter. Black never fails to amaze me it does not scream I'm here like other colors which is why i decided an all black outfit will work.

The look reminds me of a Mary poppins it totally looks like something she will wear.

If you are looking for a party outfit I believe this works perfectly well this season.

By simply pairing a turtle neck top, tulle skirt, a pair of knee high boots and a hat you've got a killer look. Get ready to twirl into your party and slay !!

I hope you like this look. Stay Stylish  ... See more pictures and outfit details below.

SWEATER WEATHER : ARMY GREEN

Who else is excited about the cyber Monday deals because I am *smiles*.

Sweater weather has got me feeling all kinds of ways. It has made me style my summer clothes in a more fall/winter appropriate way.

In today's post, I have styled this army green jumper with an army green skirt. One of the best ways to style yourself is starting with color co ords. It's one of the easiest way to create an eye catching look.

The color bronze is also a favorite of mine as it has a calm tone which it adds to any look.

As always I aim for versatility when it comes to styling outfits. Here's an outfit you all can dress up or dress down.

I hope you like this post... Stay stylish. See more pictures and outfit details below.

Faux Fur , Pleather and Grays!!

It may have come to your notice in my many previous posts that I've been loving styling neutral colored outfits.

This gray outfit with a touch of leather is enough proof.lol

In today's post I have styled this gray jumper paired with a pleather skirt. Very simple yet stylish.

You won't imagine how much warmth I am getting from this faux fur around my neck.

I love this outfit and as I always say styling for me goes beyond selecting outfits for different occasions, however I focus more on styling one outfit that covers all style trends and does not limit the occasion that it can be worn to..

I hope you like this post.... Stay stylish.

WRAP DRESS + THIGH HIGH BOOTS

Have you ever been so confused about what to wear? Especially my ladies. You have a wardrobe filled with loads of clothes but you still say I have nothing to wear.

Yes, I can relate. That was me in the early yesterday morning while looking for a church outfit. I was confused, I said I have to go to church but wanted to look a certain way. Little did I know that this beautiful wrap dress given to me by my grandma would solve my misery.

The wrap dress is amazing simple and beautiful. The length is perfect, talk more of the geometric design. I love the black and what colors of this dress, simple yet sophisticated.

I paired this outfit with a pair of pointed thigh high boots. I love how classy the outfit looks.

Moreover, you all know how much I love the fact that my outfits can be worn to different occasions, I wore this to church and would leave you to imagine where else you could wear this outfit to if I could to church. *smiles*

Stay stylish and I hope you enjoy this post....See more pictures and outfit details below;

Camel + Mom jeans

Hey loves, happy Friyay... I haven't really blogged this week... I got so caught up with personal stuff .. Don't we all.

As the weather gets chilly and more chilly.. The only solution is to cover up..lol

However, just because we have to wear a ton of layers does not mean we can not remain stylish and fabulous.

Hence, today's post which shows how I styled my camel coat, nude top, mom jeans and nude shoes.

I've been loving very neutral colors like nude, grays and even black lately.

This outfit works well for any occasion this season as you are warm but still very stylish. I choose this high waisted mom jeans just to add a little oldie look to it.

I hope you enjoyed this post and get inspired.

Stay stylish, see more pictures and outfit details below;
